An event for FWW chaplains, trustees and supporters looking at how Faith at Work in Worcestershire moves ahead to a sustainable future as a volunteer led organisation.
During the morning will be hearing from chaplains from across the county about their chaplaincy activity. We sometimes take for granted what our chaplains do, and we want to use this occasion to celebrate the ministry of chaplaincy, hear some of the amazing stories our chaplains have to tell, and reflect together about meeting the challenges that lie ahead.
We also want to share with you the planning trustees are doing for the future. A significant portion of the funds that we need come from denominational grants. But with budgets under ever increasing pressure we know we will have to plan to do more with less. The headline for this plan – which we are calling ‘Meeting the Challenge’ – is that, by January 2026, we will be supporting more chaplaincy but will be a volunteer-led organisation.
